Family Day Wassailing Festival 2012
Join us on Monday February 20th for our 2nd Annual Wassailing Festival from 1-4 pm.
- Bring your pots, pans and noisemakers to join in the singing & dancing to encourage the trees to be fruitful and chase the winter blues away.
- Bonfire & marshmallows for roasting
- Hot cider & tasty treats
- Sampling of products from local food producers
- Orange Peel Morris Dancers for traditional Wassail at 2 pm

The term cider actually means two things here in North America. It can be “Sweet Cider (Soft Cider)” or “Hard Cider”. “Sweet Cider” is the raw fresh juice from pressed apples. |

The name Spirit Tree takes into account the ancient tradition of wassailing as well as being a play on the fact that cider is an alcoholic drink or “spirit” from trees. |
