Pick Your Own
PICK YOUR OWN APPLES IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
Our Farm Shop, Tasting Room and Bistro are open year round.
The apple picking season generally starts in Caledon at the beginning of September and lasts until the end of October.
Our schedule of varieties for picking varies each year, but usually begins with Cortland, McIntosh and Gala, and ends with Golden delicious and Ida Red in late October. There’s usually one or more species ready at any given time, though we cannot guarantee harvest times or quantities as the crops vary from year to year. Each week during harvest season we will announce the varieties we are picking, so please give us a call at 905-838-2530 or visit our Facebook page for an update.
The trees in the Spirit Tree orchard range in age from two years old to forty years old, and include over 38 different apple varieties. Some of these are perfect for eating and will be available for picking this fall, and some will be saved for the cider the mill, and your glass!
Apple picking is a great way for families to spend time together, and buying fruit right off the farm ensures your family gets the freshest produce in Ontario.
Come experience our craft cider, country store and restaurant, and explore our beautiful apple orchard just outside Toronto.
Don’t forget to bring your cameras for those unforgettable family memories!
While you’re here, why not join us for lunch in the Ciderhouse Bistro, an afternoon tour, or pick up a pizza and baked goods to take home from our Farm Shop. And of course enjoy some of our award-winning Cider!
